Liebster Award..

Hey, i've been nominated for the Liebster Award thanks to the lovely Taylor over at TaylorrTalks - she has a super cute blog and i'm thankful she tagged me for my first tag post on my blog.

All you have to do is:
Answer the questions that you were nominated to
Nominate 11 bloggers, who have under 500 followers (blog or twitter)
Think up of another 11 questions for them to answer!

1 - What are your top 3 favourite blogs?
My three favourite blogs which I find myself reading over and over are Charlotte @ ThingsIDoThinkAndBuySarah @ ThatPommieGirl and Em @ MyPaleSkin - they're my guilty pleasure blogs and I could literally sit and read them for hours.

2 - The one make-up beauty product you cant live without?
I honestly can't live without foundation, I have really trouble skin and without this I don't want to face the world. I can leave the house with just foundation on and not be phased at all, but baring my natural skin frightens me.

3 - Whats your fvourite nail polish colour to have on your nails?
I love a good burgundy, especially as its coming towards Winter..

4 - Favourite trend of Autumn/Winter this year?
I love the reverse scarfs, I think they're a great addition to what could potentially be a plain outfit. I am also a big lover of the fur!! (faux obviously...)

5 - What are your favourite Christmas films?
Love a bit of home alone, the grinch and elf around Christmas time!!

6 - Best and worst part about blogging?
The best part of blogging is reading and sharing thoughts about genuine interests, its almost like a different world! I don't like the competitive side of blogging, where some people think its all about followers, how many page views you have and how many brands you work with.

7 - What are your staples when you're having a pamper night?
A face mask, good moisturiser, chocolate, nail varnish, onesie, fluffy socks..

8 - If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?
It would be a dream to live somewhere like NY, LA or Australia..

9 - What's the most expensive beauty/fashion item that you own?
The most expensive beauty item I own is probably my MAC foundation, i'm not typically a splurger. I don't own too many expensive fashion items either, I have a coat that was around the £90 mark I guess thats pretty pricey.

10 - What gives you inspiration for blog ideas?
The world, literally driving past something can give me an idea for a post. I don't go out looking for inspiration I wait till I find it, I love experimenting and sometimes my ideas come from there.

11 - What is your favourite makeup brand?
I would have to say bourjois at the moment, they're just doing it for me...

Now the fun part, I nominate the lovely:

And the questions I would like you to answer.

1. If you could give one piece of advice about blogging, what would it be?
2. What is your biggest concern when going out, your makeup or outfit?
3. One current makeup look you are loving?
4. If you could have the wardrobe of any celebrity who would you choose and why?
5. If you could only shop with one makeup brand for the next 10 years, which one would you choose?
6. In a hurry would you rather do your eyebrows or eyelashes?
7. Where is your ideal holiday?
8. Sun or snow?
9. Are you more of a gold or silver jewellery person?
10. If you had the chance to style one celebrity for a shoot, who would you choose? What would you make them wear? How would you make them stand out?
11. What are your future goals for your blog?

St Ives Scrub

Just thought i'd update you on this wet and windy Monday to let you know about this amazing St Ives Apricot Scrub i've recently been using. I picked this up on a 2 for £3 offer in Tesco and I am so glad I did. This product along with the makeup wipes and my trusty nivea moisturiser have completely cleared my face, and I'm no longer suffering from under the skin spots. This small start to skincare has shown me that you don't need to break the bank to see results, and I really would recommend this to everyone. The one pictured above is for dry/sensitive skin, hence the word 'gentle' on the back - a necessity for my rubbish skin.

I love using this product and can see it easily becoming a staple, do you have any skincare items you'd recommend?

On the run...

I can't be the only one who loves but also hates the run up to Christmas, where you have the problem of buying presents for other people, and then brands such as Naked decide to release a number of limited edition products that just have to be yours.. yet if you put them on your christmas list they run the risk of being sold out completely by the time it arrives. Ugh, i'm currently in that position about the new Naked On The Run palette, which is a new limited edition product. On first thought I can see this as a great travelling makeup item, as it includes 5 urban decay eyeshadows.. (rumours being one from each of the naked palettes and one from each of the basics) which are a great variety of colours that I believe could work on every skin tone. The palette also includes a highlight, mascara, eyeliner, lipgloss and a flush blush/bronzer.

I was expecting a large price tag to follow this palette, after all it does include a few of Naked's iconic products, but after some thorough research I have came across this palette for $54, which works out around 35 pounds which is a bargain!

Do you think you will splurge on the Naked On The Run palette?

Shoot it, place it, case it...

What a long week it has been and a stressful one at that! Sorry for not posting since Tuesday, i've decided to have my posting days as a Monday and Thursday from now on so that I can keep to a regular structure. I've been so busy at nursery placement, work, and college.. along with completing my first assignment handed in today that I just have not had time to sit down and write a post for my blog (or barely time to sit down at all!!) With a blog schedule I hope to stick to it and therefore have a constant flow of posts on my blog.. we shall see!!

I love the motto for Casetify, and this is exactly what I have done. This phone case* is so beautiful and contains some of my favourite photos of me and my boyfriend, which I love having on the back of my phone. It's just a small added extra which always puts a smile on my face no matter what the situation is.. I have had previous cases from Casetify including one of Cher Lloyd (my all time favourite singer) and one which included a few of the snaps below and some others with family/friends. I love Casetify cases, one for the personal touch to your phone, but also for the amazing quality. The photo quality comes out brilliantly, but if your picture is too grainy/pixelated then Casetify will inform you of this in the design process. The cases are so durable and really do protect your phone. I was over the moon when I was contacted about reviewing another case, and with an iPhone 6 in the horizons for me.. I decided to begin designing. I don't think i'll ever get bored of my case due to the fact it holds so much personal meaning, and I think they are definitely worth investing in, especially with Christmas around the corner.. they make a wonderful gift and i've got an exclusive link where you can get $10 off the price(casetify work in dollars, but you can easily convert this into your currency). Visit: this invite link in order to qualify for the $10 off! Thank you, Casetify for providing me with yet another wonderful phone case, which I highly doubt will be my last.. shoot it place it case it after all!

All items marked with an * are sent from companies to review, this by no means affects the review you are reading, as this is my own personal views of what I have kindly been gifted.

Fabulous Fur...

I blame Charlotte Fisher from thingsidothinkandbuy for this purchase but I am secretly grateful I stumbled upon her post featuring this gorgeous navy blue fur jacket. I hate indoor photographing but being at college till late on a Monday and Tuesday and working Thursday-Sunday leaves me little time when I am busy on a Wednesday catching up on college work! I hope the flash has made the photos of a reasonable quality for the time being. I opted for the medium as I love layering in winter, and i'm a size 8/10 and it fits quite oversized. I am covering the biggest part with a scarf but I would generally wear one with these kind of jackets anyway so that is in no way an issue for me. I love the feel of this coat, its soooo warm and will definitely see me through this chilly November which we are already experiencing. I have been wearing this non stop and received sooo many compliments which is amazing for a coat! I love pairing this with my purple primark tartan scarf for a cosy look!
